BTS have cemented their status as fashion icons. The K-Pop group has been announced as ambassadors for none other than Louis Vuitton.
BTS are a powerhouse. The multi-disciplinary artists have countless platinum singles and albums, plus a Grammy nomination. And let's not forget the number of Billboard and Guinness World records this group has absolutely smashed. These are some huge career milestones for a group all under the age of 30.
Undoubtedly BTS are one of the most heralded, unique, renowned and ubiquitous bands of the modern day. So it's no surprise really that a House as historic as Louis Vuitton would choose BTS as the faces of the Maison.
The decision comes following discussions with Louis Vuitton's Men's Artistic Director, Virgil Abloh. BTS and Abloh connected to share creative visions and idea for a potential union. And naturally, the fit was right.
"I am delighted that BTS are joining Louis Vuitton today. I am looking forward to this wonderful partnership which adds a modern chapter to the House, merging luxury and contemporary culture. I can't wait to share all the very exciting projects we are working on," Abloh said of the new partnership.
"Becoming global brand ambassadors for Louis Vuitton is a truly exciting moment for us. We are exciting for our upcoming projects with Virgil Abloh," BTS added.
BTS have been capturing the hearts of millions since the band first formed and debuted in 20213. Artists, singers, dancers and more, BTS are fresh talents that have taken the world by storm for a reason.
