It's no secret that Tyrone Lebon has the midas touch. Everything he touches turns to gold and this time he's put his touch on Bottega Veneta Salon 02 and it's all over.
Since its first debut in October 2020, Bottega Veneta’s unique ready-to-wear presentations titled "Salon", has already swept the world off its feet. And so it only makes sense, to add to its hallmark of growing success; that the House partner up with fashion photographer Tyrone Lebon once again for the launch of its latest campaign series for Bottega Veneta Salon 02.
With London in lockdown earlier this year, we saw Salon 01 draw parallels with portraiture style-like images reminiscent of life staying at home. Now, for its next installment for Salon 02, the campaign goes out in full force, omitting an equally infectious post-pandemic energy, with a campaign that goes bigger and seems to move faster than the one before.
Bottega Veneta Salon 02 moves us out of the household and throws us into the blaring lights illuminating a night in the city. The collection sees us to a series of high-octane looks, once again, seeing the return of Bottega Veneta's brightly coloured Ostrich feathered suits and textural dresses, but this time alongside animated furs in cartoon like proportions. Exaggerated volumes, kinky distressed shine-latex-looking leathers find themselves side by side with finely engineered luxe cashmere; the collection offers a playful but highly wearable sensibility to high fashion in its approach.
And of course, the campaign is far from colour shy. In fact bursts of vibrant colour is at first, all you can really see. Starring model Freja Beha Erichsen, Dede Mansro, Fernando Cabral, Takahiro Oda and Yoonmi Sun; the campaign yields to the boldness of the collections bright hues, using it to only captivate us to fine points of endearment.
The collection will launch in stores at the end of September, 2021 and for news and updates visit bottegaveneta.com for more.
