It's been quite the year for Blackpink's Lisa (Lalisa Manobal), one of the members of the prominent K-pop supergroup. Just a month after being announced as CELINE's latest muse and off the back of releasing a hit documentary on Netflix, titled Light Up the Sky, Lisa has embarked on her latest venture – being announced as the new face of MAC Cosmetics.
The collaboration is one for the history books, with Lisa's position as a global ambassador marking the first ever K-pop star to front the beauty brand.
“For the love of Lisa! We’re pumped to finally announce Lisa as the newest face of MAC Cosmetics,” shared the brand in an Instagram post.

Lisa is no stranger to the beauty world, known by her fans for her eccentric and bold beauty choices – namely, her razor sharp winged eyeliner, luscious lashes and touch of glitter, of course.
“MAC is truly at the forefront of trendsetting, which reminds me every time I see a MAC campaign or the incredible looks their artists create backstage at fashion weeks around the world,” Lisa shared in a press release.
“It’s an honour to partner with a brand with such an incredible heritage and unrivalled expertise in makeup artistry. I am thrilled and looking forward to this journey!"
The K-pop star, who boasts a cool 40 million followers on Instagram, will work with MAC Cosmetics across their collections and campaigns as well as inspire future and upcoming projects for the brand. Her signature looks will also be shared with fans, as she works with MAC makeup artists to discuss all things beauty – from inside tips, skincare regime and more.
“Lisa’s unparalleled talent and bold, fashion-forward style make her the perfect match for MAC," expressed Drew Elliot, Senior Vice President and Global Creative Director for MAC Cosmetics.
“Always confident and never one to shy away from risks, she embodies our commitment to celebrating individuality and self-expression above all else. We can’t wait for her fans to see what she has in store for them through our collaboration.”
