You know musicians are cooking something up when they wipe their socials. Clean slate, new era of music – they've trained us well. Well, not to alarm you, but earlier in the week, Beyoncé removed the profile image on all her social media accounts and naturally, fans everywhere went into collective chaos – speculating that this could very well be a sign that the Queen will soon drop a new album soon. Because if history tells us anything, it's that Beyoncé doesn't do anything by coincidence: she is all intention. As it turns out, our suspicions were 100% valid, with confirmation overnight that the artist will be releasing act i, RENAISSANCE on July 29.

If you're a fellow citizen of Twitter, or are simply obsessed with the queen herself, you would have already been on the case. It appears that Queen Bey has left us a deliberate trail of breadcrumbs over this past year, and just recently they've become unavoidable. There's the fact that in an interview with Harper's Bazaar last year, Beyoncé told the publication that she's "been in the studio for a year and a half". Explaining that "with all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again. I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible."
To think Beyoncé will be outdoing Self-Titled, Lemonade, & Black Is King production wise, visual wise, & just all around with B7 is scary af. She elevates and outdoes herself each era. She’s not playing with ANYBODY this new era. #BeyReady

"Yes, the music is coming!" she confirmed. Then there's the tidbit that music industry website Hits Daily Double wrote an article celebrating Sony Music Industry’s CEO and Chairman Rob Stringer, alongside a statement that indicated there were "strong rumors of Harry Styles and Beyoncé's rounding out the fiscal year (ending 3/30/22) with potential blockbuster sets". Well, we've been blessed with Harry's House so it appears a Beyoncé is...overdue?
I was selected for Jury Duty and they don’t let us have our phones. I’m scared #Beyonce will release #b7 or #b8 and I won’t find out until later.

Fans have also picked up on a few easter eggs planted on Beyoncé's website. While it is no longer the case, if you had typed in the date June 10 or June 11 a couple of days ago, a black image with Beyoncé's name alongside the caption "Image B7" popped up, causing the question "what is b7" to trend on Twitter. Which brings us to the name of her new album. Initially, fans were convinced that B7 was a reference to the album name, but now, as we know, Bey's RENAISSANCE is about to signal a new era. Also, can we talk about the fact that this is only part 1 of what's to come?! It's true that Beyoncé may have been keeping us hanging since releasing Lemonade in 2016, but what's to come certainly won't disappoint.
🚨🚨🚨Something is definitely going on. When you type in #B7 on Beyonce's official website search bar this now comes up! 👀👀👀 #BEYONCEISCOMING pic.twitter.com/VfKVj4FrZa
