Hot hosiery winter is here: These are the tights we’re shopping this season

tights

It is nearing the end of May and the cold has officially set in. For the Fall 23 season, we saw a surplus of tights in a way that hadn't been witnessed in a while. After the post-covid outbreak of ultra-sexiness, bare legs, bare tummies, bare everything, this winter sees us returning to a less fervent sense of sensuality, and leaning towards a slightly more subversive sentiment. Enter: tights.

On the runway they came in droves. At Gucci they were flame red and icy blue. At Versace they were monogrammed and black. How could anyone forget all of the tones that Miuccia Prada served up at Miu Miu? There were peach ones and brown ones and black and lime and mint and plum and ballerina pink. These moments hailed that tights were firmly back on our hit list, offering a pop of colour where perhaps not expected, an added layer for styling purposes, and of course, extra warmth when our bare knees can no longer withstand the wind. Now that the weather has sufficiently cooled, we've been on a hosiery shopping spree, picking up as many iterations as we can to bulk out our wardrobes with fun stockings to match our newfound love of pencil skirts (thanks also to Miu Miu and Gucci).

From very special lace up Nensi Dojaka iterations, to subtle monogram moments from Burberry and Saint Laurent, and loud offerings from Gucci and Wolford X Mugler, we've got you covered for all of your tights needs. Below, are our favourite tights to shop this season.
