Maria Grazia Chiuri channeled the fiesty resilience of the post-war woman for Dior Women's Fall Winter 23 collection, modelled by Bakhita Lual for the pages of our September Intuition issue. Namesake Christian Dior was well known for his ability to marry romance and glamour, a legacy that Chiuri has continued with her own approach to femininity and simplicity at the helm of the House.
Lensed by Tim Ashton and styled by Hannah Cooper, Lual is a vision of playfulness and power, donning garments that riff on 1950s silhouettes, but with a contemporary spin. In the spotlight are the Lady Dior and Lady D-Lite bags, each iteration a reflection of their royal namesake and of their long and decorated history as one of the French fashion house's most iconic and perennially popular bags.
