BAFTAS 2022

Awards season is starting to heat up, with the BAFTA's taking place on Sunday, where once again the best of British film basked in all its 2022 glory. In pre-pandemic fashion, the in person ceremony took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London, hosted by our very own Rebel Wilson; the event announced its winners through roving coverage on social media .

As expected, Dune dominated in the design and editing categories – capping the night off with five trophies, including, Production Design, Special Visual Effects, Cinematography, Sound and Original Score. No other film had more that two wins. Ultimately, it was The Power of the Dog, coming in on top winning best film with our Kiwi neighbour Jane Campion taking out the best director gong.
