Calling all A24 fans! Are you in need of another erotic thriller to see you through into the new year? Well, boy, do we have a treat for you. Straight from the genius brain of Bodies Bodies Bodies filmmaker, Halina Reijn, the hotly-anticipated first trailer for Babygirl is here, and it's violating some serious HR regulations. The soon-to-be-released film tells the story of a powerful CEO who begins an illicit affair with a much younger, charismatic intern. Not only does it feature a stellar cast, but one with some pretty incredible Australian faces. Any guess at who the film's leading star is?
Following on from her unforgettable performance as troubled matriarch in The Perfect Couple, as well as living out our dreams as Zac Efron's love interest in A Family Affair, it would seem impossible that Australian darling Nicole Kidman could possibly have any more news under her belt. But as we have now found out, it will in fact be Kidman who is leading the cast on Babygirl, with fellow Australian actress, A24 star and RUSSH favourite, Sophie Wilde, also playing a significant role in the film.
Surely we've piqued your interest? Keep reading for everything we know about the hotly-anticipated film.

What is Babygirl about?
As mentioned, Babygirl is a film that examines, explores and challenges power dynamics and sexuality in the workplace. Written and directed by Reijn to mark her second collaboration with A24, the story sees Kidman begin and engage in an affair with her much younger intern, as her world – both personal and professional – continues to spin around her.
Who has been confirmed as part of the cast for Babygirl?
Kidman will lead the talented lineup of actors, while Harris Dickinson (who starred in the A24 hit, Iron Claw, and Triangle of Sadness), will play her intern. Antonio Banderas is set to play the husband of Kidman’s character, while Sophie Wilde portrays the assistant who watches the rendezvous go down.
Do we have a release date for Babygirl?
Babygirl is slated for release in theatres on December 25, 2024 — the ultimate Christmas treat, if you ask us.
