One of my favourite kinds of people-watching takes place during fashion month. No, I'm not talking about street style – although, we've got a bunch from New York, London, Milan and Paris to keep your motor running. Nor am I referring to the delicious celebrity-spotting that front row invites allow. One of the most satisfying things about September is seeing homegrown talent make their runway debuts. During the Spring Summer 2024 season, we observed Australian models dominate the runway, some for the first time, others with the sort of fluency that comes from decades in the industry.
We feel a great sense of pride every time, say, Julia Nobis steps out onto the runway, as she did for Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Maison Margiela, Fendi, Loewe, and many more this season. The same can be said when RUSSH cover star, Tiama Tilbee, popped up at Pierpaolo Piccioli's female-centric collection for Valentino or when Lily Vander Meeden and Bibi Breslin stepped out for Sabato de Sarno's Gucci debut.
So without further ado, these are the Australian faces that defined the Spring Summer 2024 season, the models we can't forget about. Find them below.

After more coverage from the Spring Summer 2024 season? RUSSH was there to witness it all. Here are our highlights from New York Fashion Week, as well as London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.
Alternatively, catch up on all the details from New York Fashion Week with Kim Russell, who shares her diary from the week with RUSSH. Russell also crossed the Atlantic for London Fashion Week where she met Michele Lamy and attended Burberry. Read all about her trip here. Otherwise, see you next season.
