Galleries across the country are gearing up for the summer ahead, with some of year's best exhibitions yet to come. There's the big-ticket shows, with the Art Gallery of NSW unveiling its Kandinsky and Louise Bourgeois shows this month, and the National Gallery of Victoria debuting a photography exhibition featuring Man Ray, Cindy Sherman and more. Dig a little deeper and you'll find other gems, like the solo show from Annalisa Ferraris at James Makin Gallery, Roberta Joy Rich at PICA, or Karla Dickens and Jason Phu at STATION Melbourne.
