Aminé and New Balance have taken their relationship to the next level. The American rapper has been an ambassador for the brand for a while, but has now revealed that they will be collaborating on a shoe, the New Balance 610, “The Mooz”. Aminé joins a host of other recent New Balance collaborators like Bodega and Chicago designer Joe Freshgoods, who've recently released their take on the brand's 610 sneaker silhouette.
By way of announcement, Aminé posted a visual teaser to Instagram last week, showing off a hometown billboard featuring an image of wooden crates brimming with bananas (after his Club Banana label) next to the words, “A Kid From Portland Has His Own Sneaker.”

Today, Aminé has revealed an intimate look at the shoe design, in all its banana-hued glory, online. Judging by the visuals, the shoe features brown and yellow uppers; a mix of reflective, mesh, and patent paneling; and a snowglobe-like detail on the ankle, which bears a '610' badge painted in a glowing yellow, and a banana bunch motif floating inside.
Dual-branded Aminé x New Balance logos are visible on the tongue, alongside a toggled lacing system.

When can I buy them?
While an official release date has yet to be confirmed, we're expecting the sneaker collaboration to drop sometime over summer this year (that is, the USA summer). But stay tuned for more details.
Where can I buy them?
The Amine x New Balance collaboration is slated for release through New Balance's website, and via several online and physical retailers that are yet to be announced. We'll keep you updated as we hear more on this one. Stay tuned!
