Sydney (soon to be L.A.) based six-piece Death Bells debut their film for new single Echoes, ahead of the launch of their forthcoming 7 inch vinyl record release, Echoes / Move Through Me.
"Echoes and Move Through Me (the second single on the record) came together over summer when our longtime friend John was back in Sydney to visit," says frontman William Canning. "We wrote, demoed and tracked the songs in our practice space (a glorified shed) in St Peters. To me, they quite well distill the spirit of the band, there's a pretty stark dichotomy that exists between them. Echoes is very pretty, lyrically and instrumentally. It's a sweet song about falling out of love." The film was captured by Andreas Damouras on an old Yashica Super 8 camera found by the band's drummer, Samuel Shepherd.
Echoes / Move Through Me will be released Friday, June 22.
