Sydney's All About Women festival is set to return in 2025 — and we have a first look at all the important details. Taking over the iconic stages of the Sydney Opera House once again, the festival will coincide with International Women's Day, uniting authors, historians, and advocates from across the globe in a truly stellar program. Interested? Everything we know so far, below.

Who is included on the All About Women program in 2025?

First and foremost, the opening night will be marked once again by one of the festival's most popular events, 'Feminist Roast'. In 2025, the satirical occasion will be led by comedian and author Lucinda 'Froomes' Price; singer-songwriter, actor, comedian and Aunty Donna collaborator Michelle Brasier; Gamilaroi and Torres Strait Islander woman, writer, actor, director and All About Women co-curator alum Nakkiah Lui; and Ydinji woman and award-winning comedy star Steph Tisdell.

For the first time ever, stand-up comedy is included on the All About Women agenda, with a performance by Emmy nominated comedian, actress and writer of Cinnamon in the Wind, KATE, Don’t Worry Darling and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Kate Berlant.

Plus, winner of Australia’s first season of Alone and author of new release We Are The Stars, Gina Chick will take part in a raw conversation on overcoming grief and adversity.

We also now know that the 2025 iteration has been programmed by the Sydney Opera House Talks & Ideas team led by Chip Rolley, in collaboration with Whadjuk Noongar journalist and presenter Narelda Jacobs, and award-winning actor and writer for stage, screen and print Michelle Law.

When is the 2025 All About Women festival?

The event kicks off with opening night on Saturday 8 March, before the full program gets into swing on Sunday 9 March.
