The collection marks the eight edition for the lifestyle and design studio, who have become synonymous with creating pieces that have the ability to instantly transport us to summer in the Mediterranean. The latest drop of tableware and soft furnishings is no exception. Inspired wholly by Italian style icon, the late Marella Agnelli, Forever Marella has drawn out the visionary's innate elegance, style, love for art, interiors and gardens for the collection.
“Every time I create a home or a garden, I ask myself the same questions, where will we gather together in the daytime and in the evening? How can I preserve a few quiet, secluded spots for reading or working? Which is the coolest area in the garden for meals in the shade? Architecture and landscapes influence our lives so much —I’m always fascinated by that.”
One of the many quotes of Agnelli's loved by Alex and Trahanas founders Alexandra Heard and Heleena Trahanas, the new offering is a joyful mix of ceramics, soft furnishings, garments and jewels all with a special place within the home, wardrobe and tabletop.
Forever Marella also marks the first time Alex and Trahanas have collaborated with with Australian family-owned design and furniture company, Jardan; to design the soft-furnishings component of the collection. Think beautifully decorated tablecloths, napkins and cushions all in nostalgic Italian handmade prints.
