Simplicity and strength. Confidence and creativity. Australian fashion label Albus Lumen has opened the brand's first concept store in the heart of Bondi. As the world increasingly turns digital, the brand makes a case for creating physical spaces that foster community and highlight the creatively minded.
The space will showcase both the fashion and lifestyle collection from the brand. Albus Lumen’s signature muted palette, luxe silks and understated detailing will all feature in the store as well as the brand's soon to be released basic collection. A collection consciously designed to fit into the essentials of everyday wear. Alongside the clothing the Casa collection of homewares will also be available. A previous collaboration with Sydney based ceramist Alana Wilson saw a collection of porcelain plates come to life and the homewares will continue as a seasonal collaboration with female artisans from around the world.
Brand Founder and Creative Director, Marina Afonina explains that the new store “offers a collective space for like-minded individuals to come together to share their common interests. It is now more important than ever for communities to support each other.
“This new environment allows consumers from all walks of life to experience a mutual collaborative energy forming part of the overall experience,” Afonina tells. The space captures a certain considered sparseness. Juxtaposed against unexpected details, brutalist pieces and objects all synonymous with the brand's DNA. Positioned close to Bondi Beach an endless summer is always here. Both with the Albus Lumen Société space and the designs that transport us to the sea and the sun.
The store will be open via private appointment only from July 1st and is located at Shop 1, 91 Glenayr Ave, Bondi.
