Afterpay Australian Fashion Week has released its schedule for 2022, with a strong showing of Australian talent set to take over Sydney in a spectacle of what the industry has to offer. After two years of pandemic-impacted shows and uncertainty, it's shaping up to be an event not to miss.
Who is showing on the Afterpay Australian Fashion Week Schedule?
Featuring 50 live runway shows and presentations, the event begins with off with a Welcome to Country produced by First Nations Fashion + Design. Designers showing on the Australian Fashion Week Schedule include Aje, bassike, Romance Was Born, St Agni, Joslin and Wynn Hamlyn, alongside Bianca Spender who is opening the show with her Summer and Resort collection at Gallery 1 – a space dedicated to the late Carla Zampatti.
Natalie Xenita, Vice PresidentManaging Director of IMG Fashion Events & Properties, Asia Pacific, says the event will be filled with creativity and a bustling atmosphere in celebration of Australian fashion.

When is the event in 2022?
As Australia's only international fashion trade event, Afterpay Australian Fashion Week attracts more than 18,000 attendees and participants to Sydney across a five-day schedule, this year running May 9-13.
