AAFW street style 2021: The best off duty looks from the week

After a year hiatus that saw many of us dreaming of the infamous Carriageworks steps; Afterpay Australian Fashion Week is back for 2021. While we've certainly spent many of our days leading up to the prestigious week dreaming of the impending looks that would grace the runways, our minds and hearts have also been floating elsewhere. Let's be honest, what is Fashion Week without the excitement of the street style? In the digital age, it's almost impossible to imagine a time when we were without. In celebration of the freshest and most covetable looks donned off the runway, we've rounded up the AAFW street style 2021 looks we can't get enough of.

For the returning year, it's no surprise that fashion's elite are putting their best foot forward – delivering street style looks that have undoubtedly turned heads. A RUSSH favourite, Manahou Mackay stepped out on day one in the 'fit of our dreams; wearing a Christopher Esber signature skirt and heels and taking matters into her own hands with a top she made herself. Elsewhere, Yan Yan Chan mastered two outfits in one morning. Starting off in a silky-taupe suit with white detailing for Jordan Dalah – the first show of the week – and transitioning into a three-piece pastel green ensemble with a cropped waistcoat for the afternoon.
