Whether you find yourself on the west coast of Australia for the surf or the serenity – stumble into the welcoming arms of the laid-back crew at sustainably driven brewery, Beerfarm.
Do …
Tucked away on 80 acres of natural West Australian countryside is a brewery with more than just good (actually, great) beer on its agenda. The outpost's strong belief in serving the community is evident through its locally sourced ingredients, and commitment to working sustainably and respectfully with the land that brews the beer and feeds their herd of Angus cattle (yes, lovingly raised cows can be spotted from the brewery). While not completely off the grid (yet), the entire brewery is run on solar power, so it’s no wonder they've won awards for their efforts. Put your feet up, watch the sunset or play some games on the sprawling grass lawns that surround.
And if you happen to find yourself wandering the South West Coast this festive season, pop in for a brew, a bite and a dance with live music, good vibes and laid-back locals (did we mention it's swarming with sun-kissed surfers?). Or for a New Year’s Eve to remember, stroll on in to the Beerfarm where the, ‘Are We There Yet 2020?’, party kicks off as the sun goes down, and won’t stop till the cows come home (literally, of course).

With spa baths looking out onto rolling hills of gumtrees and white sand beaches just moments away, this may just be the local getaway we all need.

Your summer best. We're talking Albus Lumen shorts, your favourite pair of sunglasses and a Matteau dress for when the moment calls for something a little extra. Bring your favourite book (I'm currently hooked on Three Women) and your swimmers for some mandatory water immersion.
