Paradise found. Our favourite all-day trattoria, Fratelli Paradiso, has shed its old exterior and created a new world for its sixteenth birthday – textured with hessian walls, ribbed walnut paneling, 60s-inspired lighting and gently curved booths covered in buttery leather. Retaining their signature Jonathan Zawada wallpaper to keep a touch of nostalgia, the Potts Point institution has transformed the panetteria (bakery) into an additional sophisticated dining section, still serving up all the old favourites. The infamous lasagnetta bolognese, calamari sant’ andrea and that iconic tiramisu remain on the menu, with rotating seasonal dishes to accompany. Grab the corner table and order the negroni to start. We’ll be here all night.
