Before your eyes. Set under the snowcapped peaks at Nepal's Ngozumpa Glacier and Gokyo Lake, Sydney artist Rae Begley captures stunning photographs documenting the decline of the area's sacred mountain landscapes. Contrasting the vast expanse of her natural surroundings with remnants of human contamination, Begley's works serve as a reaction to her experience amongst the retreating glaciers. And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out incorporates photography, video, sound and installation works and runs from November 2 through 5 at COMMUNE in Waterloo, where Begley will be donating a percentage of the sales from the exhibition to The Ice Stupa Project to assist with their work fighting climate change and melting glaciers.
