Devon Lee Carlson and Camille Rowe just wore the collection we’re going to live in this festive season

Devon Lee Carlson and Camille Rowe for Réalisation Par

Few women have the undeniable, enigmatic charm of Devon Lee Carlson and Camille Rowe. Timeless but up-to-date, laid back but always elevated, they have that certain hard-to-define quality that unites so many perennially cool It girls in spades. A lot of it, we’d guess, comes down to what they wear. No matter how daring or effortless the pieces they select are – as soon as they’re wearing them, they become covetable. It’s what makes them and cult-favourite brand Réalisation Par a match made in fashionable heaven.

Camille Rowe for Réalisation Par

Founded back in 2015 by Australian friends Teale Talbot and Alexandra Spencer, Réalisation Par won the hearts of the fashion industry – and the world – with its effortlessly feminine silhouettes and soft, silky fabrications. Their point of difference was simple: each piece is timeless, transcending seasons and dress codes, to be worn and loved year-round. It’s a philosophy that clearly resonated, with the range growing from an initial six designs, to include once-off collaborations, loungewear, and baby tees – typically selling out at a feverish pace.

In the beginning, Talbot and Spencer shot all of their campaign imagery in Spencer's backyard in California, using their friends the original DreamGirls as models. Among them, Rainey Qualley, Australians Jeet Pavlovic and Valentina Ruby and, of course, Carlson herself. In fact, Carlson is so engrained in the Réalisation ID that she's even previously co-signed a collection with them.

Proving that, despite their mammoth success, they haven't strayed too far from these roots, Carlson is once again in front of the camera, this time showcasing the brand's newest collection alongside fellow trendsetter Rowe. Shot in New Orleans, the campaign features several new party-ready styles to carry us through the festive season, including The Marissa, the perfect cocktail mini in three unique prints.

It's perfectly timed for Réalisation Par: the brand is on the precipice of a homecoming, with their first permanent Australian boutique set to open this December. Housed in a terrace on Paddington's iconic William street, the store will bring a dreamy little slice of Los Angeles and hopefully a touch of cool girl charm to Sydney.
