IT’S ALL HAPPENING.
This is the second year in a row where there is so much astro-action taking place in your sign. Aries continues to be an archetype that is important right now, collectively as much as it is individually. Let’s unpack it.
July 2023 until January 11th 2025, the North Node and its corresponding eclipses will take place in your sign and your opposite, Libra. This period with the North Node in your sign has been like a cleansing fire, imbuing all of us with the more conscious expressions of your archetype; intentional action, a conscious use of your will power, a sharpening of your primal instinct and a visceral knowing of your wants, needs and desires. This transit has been working to evolve your impulsivity into a purposeful and controlled slow burn. How has this played out for you? How have you sharpened the expression of your sign over this time?
Venus will retrograde through your sign from March 2nd until March 28th, and this feels like a strong call to ensure that your intentions and subsequent actions are aligned with your most updated values. There’s always some sort of beautiful melody playing out in the cosmos and it’s no coincidence that in the months after the North Node leaves your sign, two of the biggest planets in our system take up residence here.
The succession of Pisces into Aries is like the baby leaving the cosmic womb and becoming a separate entity. And now, its ruler, Neptune, is in the beginning stages of a transit (March 30th until October 22nd) that will take full effect from 2026 until 2039. To give you a sense of how rare this movement is in your sign, the last time Neptune was here was in 1862 – 16 years after it was first ‘discovered’ in our solar system. Maintaining your connection to your own primal instincts and your sense of self is the medicine here, because Neptune rules everything from the imagination, dreams, symbols and the collective unconscious through to the foggy mists of illusion, delusion and fantasy.
It’s like symbolism from the great cosmic web enters the antenna of the self. Symbols meet action. Visions meet the energy of the action taker. Two months later, from May 25th until September 1st, Saturn joins the mix and will be conjunct Neptune the whole time. We could say that Neptune represents everything beyond time and space whereas Saturn is time and space, and the Earth magic of practical application. This is a creative and potent mixture here in your sign of action and initiating.
While Saturn will take up full time residency in your sign next year, this three-month visit is a great taste test. Aries and its ruler, Mars, are the sprinters of the Zodiac, while Saturn is the long-distance runner. This is a mature and practically intelligent planet, that has an eye on the long game. This will be such a great maturation, a continuing theme for your sign over the last two years, on consciously tempering your fire so that it works for you, over time, rather than in short bursts only. Everything happening for you this year feels wonderfully creative. You can bring life to things, it’s part of your natural magic. And what’s available to you now, feels like a whole other level of possibility. Go get it.
