Few models are as revered as Gisele Bündchen. The Brazilian supermodel was first thrust into the spotlight when she was just 18, with a spot walking on Alexander McQueen's runway. Now, at 44, she's just as relevant than ever.
Her illustrious modelling career has spanned decades, and includes runways and campaigns for just about every label in existence, from Chanel to Victoria's Secret. She was (and still is) a frequent fixture on the cover of major fashion magazines, and often makes impossibly chic red carpet appearances for some of the biggest events in the fashion calendar. She's even tried her hand at acting, landing a role in The Devil Wears Prada in 2006, opposite Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt.
Naturally, when a model achieves this kind of success, there's more than a little interest in her personal life. And despite her stacked modelling career, off camera, Bündchen was married to star NFL quarterback Tom Brady, who she shares two children with: son Benjamin Rein, 14, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11. The couple quietly split in 2022 and, since then, Bündchen has struck up a new romance with Joaquim Valente, 35, a jiu-jitsu instructor who also hails from Brazil. And in October, 2024, Bündchen is reportedly set to be a mum again, announcing that she and Valente are expecting their first child together.
