Tyler, The Creator added new Australian dates to Chromakopia tour

In the span of just one week, Tyler, the Creator has taken the world by storm—unveiling the highly anticipated discography of his fourth album, Chromakopia, and announcing an international world tour to match. Starting and ending our week on such euphoric notes feels quite euphoric, a bit too good to be true.

Since Tyler, the Creator's early days as the frontman of Odd Future, he’s evolved into one of the most innovative artists of his generation. Known for blending hip-hop, jazz, soul, and punk elements, Tyler, the Creator's ability to defy categorisation is part of what makes him such a magnetic figure in modern music. His previous albums—Flower Boy, IGOR, and Call Me If You Get Lost—showcased his ever-evolving artistry, from introspective lyricism to explosive beats, all while maintaining his signature offbeat, vibrant aesthetic.

Releasing the first single off his latest album a few days ago called Noid, it gives us a hint of what the album might deliver. Talking about the complexities of fame with a rock-rap fusion, using a sample from the Zambian rock band Ngozi Family that underscore's its eerie vibe. The music video itself, has a cameo by The Bear's star Ayo Edebiri creating an anxiety-laden atmosphere, with her character wielding a transformed iPhone that transitions into a gun. Not to mention Frank Ocean's voice that opens the song.

What are the newly added dates?

To meet the incredible demand for tickets, Tyler has added two extra shows to the Australian leg of his upcoming tour:

Wednesday 20 August at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Friday 5 September at RAC Arena, Perth

Tickets to the new shows are available via presale at frontiertouring.com on Thursday 21 November, and public on sale on Friday 22 November.
