From Oasis to Charli XCX, 2025 is shaping up to be a stellar year for live music in Australia. Now, we have another act to add to the list, with the news that Fontaines DC are bringing their tour to our shores.
The Irish band were already slated to head Down Under for a performance Golden Plains festival in March, 2025. But now, they've extended their stay, and and are scheduled for five headline shows plus two festivals across the country. Excited? Us too. When will Fontaines DC be in Australia?
The band will touch down in Australia in late February, withe their first show scheduled for Thursday, February 27. The exact details of their Australian tour are as follows:
- Perth Festival on Thursday, February 27
- Brisbane Riverstage on Saturday, March 1
- Wollongong Yours & Owls Festival on Sunday, March 2
- The Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Thursday, March 6
- The Palace Foreshore in Melbourne on Saturday, March 8
- Golden Plains Festival in Meredith on Sunday, March 9.
New Zealand fans of the band will also be treated to a performance at Auckland's Spark Arena on Wednesday, March 12.
