Kicking off in February, this Trans-Tasman favourite is set to deliver an unforgettable festival experience. There's already been plenty of speculation online about who will be headlining next year's sets – perhaps one Charli XCX will be bringing her brat album down under? There's also been hints that The 1975 could be set to accompany the British musician, in what would surely be one of the most iconic collaborations to ever hit Laneway. Of course, there's also plenty of eyes on Chappell Roan, who let the internet know earlier this year that she had plans to be touring New Zealand in February.
The festival will travel to major cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Auckland, offering a sensory mix of live music, art, and culture. Known for discovering next-gen stars, Laneway’s 2025 lineup is likely to be no different, with both global icons and rising local artists taking the stage.

Is Charli XCX playing?
Early on October 2, Triple J posted a very cryptic video of a recently-posted-up roadside sign that very clearly seems to allude to a brat Laneway. If sources are correct, we think Charli XCX is our likely 2025 headliner. But will Troye, Lorde, Addison and the rest of the SWEAT tour crew be joining? Only time will tell.

In another twist of events, a second TikTok has hinted that The 1975 could be accompanying Charli XCX at Laneway 2025. The video in question shows one of Charli's distinct brat green posters, but instead of 'brat,' it reads 'The 1975.' Considering Charli is engaged to The 1975's drummer, George, it would make sense that the pair would travel Down Under together. Of course, only time will tell if this new signage is alluding to a Brat remix track, or a full-blown Laneway collaboration.

- Sydney on Sunday 9 February at the Sydney Showgrounds.
- Melbourne on Friday 14 February at Flemington Park.

- Perth on Sunday 16 Febraury at Wellington Square.
