Longines have introduced new models to their Conquest collection for its 70th anniversary that seamlessly blend sporty sensibilities with elegant functionality and a robustness suitable for everyday wear.
At the heart of these new Conquest models lies the magic of now, powered by exclusive Longines self-winding mechanical movements. These feature a silicon balance-spring and new non-magnetic components, ensuring precision and reliability. Embodying this blend of elegance and versatility, Longines Ambassadors of Elegance Zhao Liying, Suzy, and Barbara Palvin take centre stage in a dynamic campaign, "A Life in a Day," launching this summer.
What are the specs?
The new timepieces come in various sizes: 30 mm, 34 mm, and 38 mm for the three-hand versions, and 42 mm for the chronographs. Crafted in stainless steel or a bi-material case, these watches boast polished and satin-finished surfaces, are water resistance up to 100 meters, and have a transparent screw-on case back.
The dial, elegant and understated, features external snailing that enhances its vibrant colours. Eleven silvered hour markers and a date aperture at 6 o'clock ensure optimal legibility, while the 34 mm versions – available in green, pink, or blue dials – are perfect for any setting, day or night, whether in sneakers or heels.
What is the history of the Conquest collection?
This collection, a bold testament to creative spirit, has been a Longines icon since 1954, protected by the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property. Over the decades, Conquest has evolved, blending bold design with a daring spirit, marking its territory in the realm of horological innovation.
To mark the 70th anniversary of the Conquest line, Longines unveils a new generation of watches in 2024, featuring exclusive models for both women and men.
