It's been an exciting couple of weeks in fashion. Of course, we're still recovering from Australian Fashion Week and all the incredible street style inspiration we've been fed with. Luxury Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta also recognised the fashion prowess of one Australian in particular – Mr Jacob Elordi – who was dubbed their newest House ambassador overnight. And excitingly, Canada Goose have acquired their first-ever creative director in auteur Haider Ackermann (who you might know for being a frequent dresser – and friend of – Timothée Chalamet).

Bulgari unveil the most precious high jewellery piece ever created
This week Bulgari unveiled their extraordinary Serpenti Aeterna necklace – worn by Bvlgari Brand Ambassador, Priyanka Chopra at the House's magnificent celebrations in Rome to honour their 140th anniversary. The creation is considered the most previous High Jewellery piece ever crafted by the Maison, featuring seven D flawless diamond drops totalling 140 carats (one for each year of their history) and 698 baguette diamonds weighting 61.81 carats. It also took nearly 3,000 hours to complete.

Haulier’s launch made in Italy knitwear
Cult faves Haulier have announced their debut knitwear capsule, with pieces from the collection all hand linked and hand finished by artisans in Biella, Italy from 100% superfine Australian Merino wool and cashmere blend. The brand looked back at their archival styles to create two timeless new unisex jumper styles: the Guernsey knit jumper and the Mariner knit jumper.

KITH x Haydenshapes drop their limited-edition collab
The KITH x Haydenshapes limited edition collaboration dropped this week, the third instalment of their capsule surfboard drops (and coinciding with the KITH Summer 24 collection release). Drawing inspriation from summertime travels across Italia and Turkey, the surfboards are unique iterations of some of Haydenshapes' best-selling models.

VIKTORIA & WOODS open new Rosebery boutique
Fresh off the back of their AFW showing, VIKTORIA & WOODS have opened their brand new Sydney boutique at 115 Dunning Avenue in Rosebery. Housing both a classic boutique and an outlet space, the store champions the work of local artists with Henry Wilson light fixtures and ceramic works by Melbourne-based Sarah Nedovich. The space also heroes the work of young creatives, such as the acrylic on canvas Enough by Sara Munges.

LOEWE and On expand into ready-to-wear activewear
The two fashion brands have expanded upon their partnership with their fifth collection of technical activewear, outerwear and footwear for both men and women. Emphasising minimalist aesthetics and colour-blocked performance fabrics in neutral tones, the collaboration combines Spanish luxury design with Swiss engineering. The garments will be available exclusively from LOEWE.

Burberry reminds us that it's all about the trench
An evening that celebrated the richness of heritage and the power and influence of House codes, British luxury fashion brand Burberry invited guests to an exclusive and intimate in-conversation with brand archive curator Carly Eck. During the conversation and led by Eck, guests were encouraged to discover archival pieces as well as modern interpretations of the iconic trench under the creative direction of Daniel Lee, and experience the craftsmanship first-hand with a live demonstration from Burberry's artisan from Castleford, UK.
FRED's first Melbourne store opens
Renowned French jewellers Maison FRED opened their third Australian boutique in Melbourne's Collins Street this week, a boutique that stocks their iconic collections like Force 10, Chance Infinie, Pretty Woman and their High Jewellery creations. The visionary jeweller's new store has all the DNA of FRED – from private lounge areas to bespoke consultations and premium services.

FELLA Swim and Commas begin their month-long residency in Sydney
Sydney fashion label Commas have teamed up with FELLA Swim to launch a month-long residency in Paddington, Sydney. The boutique will carry Commas' Pre-Fall 24 collection, as well as pieces exclusive to the residency. The boutique at 37 William Street, Paddington will be open until the 22nd of June.

Louis Vuitton relaunches the iconic Core Values campaign with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal
The new chapter of Louis Vuitton's Core Values campaign saw tennis icons Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal summit on of the Dolomites of Italy. Shot by the inimitable Annie Leibovitz, the duo epitomise the very core messaging of the campaign, that "There are Journeys that turn into Legends". It echoes and reimagines the original Core Values series that was launched 17 years ago by Antoine Arnault and Pietro Beccari.

Weekend Max Mara unveils their third stop in the Pasticcino World Tour
After making stops in Venice and Paris, Weekend Max Mara's Pasticcino World Tour has now made its third stop in Japan. Their Treasures of Japan collection features special-editions of their iconic bag, which celebrate the country's rich textil art and kimono detailing, each crafted with gorgeous silk jacquards pulled from the historical archives of Kawashima Selkon Textile. The Pasticcino’s signature Boule clasps for the collection were handcrafted by Bottega Nakamori-Kumihimo with obijime and haori cords.

Bottega Veneta launches candle range
Bottega Veneta has launched a 3-piece range of candles this week, handmade and poured in Italy. Paying homage to the house's Venetian origins, each candle is encased in a clay jar with molten-like volcanic glaze in three colourways. Each glaze finish is one-of-a-kind, and each colourway has a different scent – Raintree, Lantern and Edstone. Each candle jar is also designed to be repurposed, readily usable as a storage pot, vase, or display item once the candle is burned.
