Can you believe that we are almost past the halfway point in the year? Personally, I cannot, but the further into winter we get, the more quickly I want these cold months to pass through. For the past few fashion edits, I've been sitting on the edge of winter gear, refusing to go all the way with my least favourite season. And while this month is still not exclusively winter wear, it's got a slightly brisker feel to it. When buying luxury, for me it's all about longevity. forget about trends, and focus on what will serve you for seasons to come.
Here, we're turning to menswear from Dior and Celine for jackets – one a classic double breasted situation and the other a velour track jacket; while Chanel provides the perfect evening cardigan. For accessories, jewellery selects play with masculine (Saint Laurent) and feminine (Van Cleef & Arpels) silhouettes, while Prada and Balenciaga are offering up club kid eyewear and handbags to make a convert out of me.
