Our favourite fashion pieces from August 2021

When we look back at what we've chosen for our round up in this month's fashion favourites; it's obvious our minds are already dreaming away of warmer weather and the summer ahead. At first, completely oblivious to this months catching themes, it seems gold lame swimwear, Italian glass blown beads and fleshy tops worthy of shedding winter skin seems to be catching golden light this month at the office.

Looking back on the heavy months we have just endured - a rough winter in lockdown and now what seems, more heartbreak and tougher headlines charting our news; we wanted to invite you to escape, even just for a moment, to a summer of colour and optimism for the month of August ahead.

Quaint Mary Janes by one of our footwear favourites, LOQ, made the cut; to hopefully remind you of the easier days or transport you back to memories of your favourite utopian summer, indebted to a time playing in the streets in perfect suburban slumber. We also pair this month with simple jewellery; a beautiful herringbone gold chain reminiscent of pieces we would find in our grandparents jewellery box or the playful, not-so-serious Italian beaded pieces by New York (now LA) local Brooke Callahan.

To lighten up the month of August, we see ourselves making our way through the days wishing in colour and print, because let's be honest. When life feels so serious and our hearts lay so broken; perhaps it is only through this way that we can dream and remind ourselves to take the time to be soft and gentle, be curious with a little space and time for play.
