When it comes to the trendsetters of the 2020's, there's no denying that Lisa from BLACKPINK is one of the trailblazers leading the way. There's a reason of course, that the K-Pop star was announced as a member of the jury for the 2021 ANDAM Fashion Award. She knows what constitutes as great style and she delivers time and time again. Naturally, then, when Lisa took to her 47.9 million Instagram followers to share her latest 'it' accessory, we instantly added to cart. Her handbag of choice? The newly redesigned Celine Triomphe shoulder bag.
The new shape first popped up on our radar during the House's summer 2021 fashion show, with models strutting down the runway with the desirable accessory tucked effortlessly under their arm. Unlike the original Triomphe bag, the latest rendition sports a shorter, more compact strap – offering a younger and trendier silhouette. Tapping into Celine's Gen Z demographic, Hedi Slimane recognises the enduring popularity of the timeless shoulder bag; elevating the silhouette to a luxury status.
The colourway that Lisa from BLACKPINK sports in her Instagram post is just one of many iterations available in the Celine Triomphe handbag. The house is offering the shape in a wide range of materials; from shiny calfskin in a variety of pastel colours, a natural tan calfskin option and of course the Triomphe canvas.
If you're as much of a BLACKPINK stan as we are, you would be aware of Lisa's highly-anticipated ambassadorship with French luxury fashion house Celine. The brand announced the star as its global face in September of last year; and since then, the dynamic duo have been breaking the internet with their covetable sartorial content. Speaking on the announcement last year, Celine shared; "We are pleased to announce the continued collaboration of Celine with Lisa, who will represent the house as global ambassador. Lisa is a multitalented artist, widely known as a member of the globally acclaimed South Korean band Blackpink."
The Celine Triomphe shoulder bag will be available to shop online and in store soon. Until we can get our hands on this covetable accessory, we'll be regularly returning to this picture of Lisa for endless inspiration.
