You've probably know that the twelve signs of the zodiac are divided into four categories - Earth, Fire, Air & Water. But what exactly is the significance here?
Well, each category is defined by an element, which represents the unique characteristics that these particular signs all have in common. For example, while Virgos and Capricorns are different, they are both Earth signs. And as a result, both signs share a set of commonalities. They're grounded and reliable folks who are usually in tune with the world around them.

Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Nadine explains "there are the folks that literally bring us back down to Earth. They are realistic and practical." These are the signs that revel in the comfort of nature.

Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are our Fire signs. "Passion. Action. And so much fun. These are the folks that keep us warm, alive, and excited," writes Nadine. Red hot and ready to go, these people are generally big balls of energy.

As for the Air signs - Gemini, Libra and Aquarius - these are the deep thinkers. Nadine shares that they are "the talkers. And the changers. These folks are the zodiac's breath of fresh air". These charmers are social butterflies.

Of Water signs, she says that they're "the feelers. The empaths. The 'my-intuition-told-me-so's of the zodiac". Water signs are sensitive and can be quite capricious.
