I'm not going to lie, last week had everyone in the RUSSH office in a bit of a spiral. Deadlines, multiple shoot preparations and grand fashion productions, it was a busy week, a black hole in time for every editor in the office. However, at the end of every tunnel, there is indeed a light and here at RUSSH, we round up another 5 favourite fashion moments from this week.
Fendi Sydney Flagship Opening
Fifteen minutes before we jumped in a car to attend the Fendi Sydney Flagship opening, I received an email incased with some very bad (and very last minute!) production news. A little bit apprehensive and perhaps a little stressed, our Editor in Chief and I still made our way through and little did we know that all our concerns from the week we had would be washed away in matter of moments as soon as we stepped through the boutique door.
What will soon quickly become a quintessential landmark in Sydney's luxury circuit, the store was anything shy from magnificent. Golden beacons of light soiree'd through the Italian marbled floors, the walls lined in decadent wallpaper all motifed with hand-cut Fendi "F". Changing rooms that have you enter different portals of colour and endless rounds of hors d'oeuvre's and champagne, the afternoon light ended with the attendance of Fendi's finest including Jessica Gomes, Delta Goodrem, Victoria Lee, Kate Waterhouse and Georgia Fowler.

Sarah & Sebastian Piercing Lab
When one is to imagine a needle sliding through skin, it's often paired with deep triggers shrouded in anxiety. This week, all the RUSSH editors were coveted Sarah & Sebastian diamonds to celebrate the launch of the new opening of their Paddington Piercing Lab. A general consensus was made at RUSSH, that the usual trauma one would usually endure from a piercing experience felt more like a calming spa day in the safe hands of Sarah & Sebastian in their new tranquil piercing space.
Definitely worthy of a gift or perhaps loving yourself with a new studded diamond, RUSSH editors all agree - the new Sarah & Sebastian Piercing Lab was a 5-star experience.
GUCCI x The Golden Age Aria Collection Screening
Last night Gucci and The Golden Age Cinema hosted an intimate gathering to showcase Gucci's latest collection titled Aria. A beautiful but haunted film co-directed by creative director Alessandro Michele and multi-disciplinary artist and videographer Floria Sigismondi, the film also commemorated 100 years of Gucci, marking 100 years since Guccio Gucci founded his small leather shop in Florence. Symbols, poetry, words of love and romance, the night was filled with majestic blooms and popcorn was a soiree to remember.
Behind The Scenes with Angel
This week marked a big week in preparation, emails, negotiations, meetings, more negotiations and then finally, the bittersweet ending of our market pages photoshoot. An early call time to add to an already, very tiresome week filled with sunrise starts, the team and my wonderful assistant India travelled to our location with multiple security guards in arms escorting our high jewellery collections and started shooting our pages for the next issue come May.
