One of the biggest names to miss out on any Grammy nominations in 2025 was Dua Lipa. The singer released her third studio album, Radical Optimism, but missed out on nods in any category. Her last album, Future Nostalgia, won the Best Pop Vocal Album category back in 2021.

While Ariana Grande did receive nominations for her album Eternal Sunshine in the Best Pop Vocal Album category, plus Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘the boy is mine’ and Best Pop Dance Recording for “yes, and?”, arguably her biggest hit in recent years, ‘we can’t be friends (wait for your love)’ missed out entirely.
Jack Antonoff

In arguably one of the year’s biggest snubs, producer Jack Antonoff was absent from the Producer of the Year, Non-Classical category (which he has won for the last three years), despite his work on some of the biggest hits, including Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet, and Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department.
Tyla

Tyla made a splash at last year’s Grammys, taking home the inaugural Best African Performance Award for her hit ‘Water.’ But despite following up this success with her self-titled debut album, the singer didn’t receive a single nomination for the 2025 Grammy awards.
Taylor Swift

With six nominations overall, Taylor Swift was hardly snubbed at this year's awards. That being said, her film, The Eras Tour, was notably absent from the Best Music Film category — despite being the highest-grossing concert film of all time.
Megan Thee Stallion

Despite the incomparable success of her track, 'Hiss', Megan Thee Stallion wasn't recognised in any categories at this year's Grammy Awards. Most notably, the song was overlooked for the Best Rap Song award.
