The first Monday in May has come around quickly, and this year's Met Gala – themed Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion – is already underway.

With the dress code set to be 'The Garden of Time', we're intrigued to see how this is reinterpreted on the steps of the Met. While we have plenty of predictions in place for the Met Gala 2024 red carpet, we're likely to see plenty of archival, and time-worn pieces on display.

Of course, there are plenty of guests bound to take the 'garden of time' dress code literally – florals and garden fauna likely to be taking centre stage. Perhaps a butterfly or an earth worm? (We wouldn't put it past Doja Cat after last year's Choupette costume – or maybe Heidi Klum will repurpose her earth worm halloween costume?).

Either way, we're excited to see how designers and creatives reinterpret the theme today, so for all the best red carpet looks from the 2024 Met Gala red carpet, scroll on...
