10 luxury fashion favourites for the month of February 2022

February has passed by us within the blink of an eye, and the final weeks of summer have flown with it, but what hasn't, is an abundance of newness in luxury right now. As the Spring 2022 collections begin to drop, we've got our shopping brains switched on for everything we were coveting back in September 2021.

Preppiness has remained on the mind, thanks to polo shirts from Saint Laurent and the release of Miu Miu's Basic Instincts collection, which we saw on Miuccia's SS22 runway by way of slashed mini skirts, cable knit crops, and Prince of Wales jackets. Gucci is providing the perfect horse girl fantasy to accompany such attire, with riding boots complete with horsebit hardware at the heels. As we attempt to keep summer going, we're turning to featherlight chiffon's from Acne's SS22 offering, alongside 70s style overshirts courtesy of Bode.

In the handbag department, we're looking at Celine for the classic baguette offering, and Burberry for a colour blocking option in one of Fall 22's most popular shades, periwinkle – the colour we noticed again and again on recent runways at NYFW.

For accessories, classics can't be beaten. Saint Laurent offers perfectly shaped classic square lenses, while Louis Vuitton makes a case for the forever belt.

Our favourites this month are undoubtedly confused as we enter the trans seasonal period. Influenced by trends but best swayed by the classics, we're dipping our toes out of our comfort zone with colour while remaining loyal to the silhouettes we'll always run back to.
